|
A) Lubricate wheel spindle with household
Mineral Oil for long-lasting silent operation. |

B) Always lock cage door after closing. |
|

B) Always lock cage door after closing. |
|
|
 |
 |

| C) Always lock carrier door in closed position when transporting animal. |
|

 |
|
D) Never leave pet unattended in main
housing when Carrier Unit is off. If more
than one hamster is to be housed,
the Carrier should not be removed. |
E) Do not leave pet unattended in
detached Carrier Unit except for transportation. It is for temporary use.

 |
F) Never lift entire housing with
Carrier handle. |
G) To remove Carrier lightly flex Clip away to unhook edge.
|
|
 |
 |
|
H) A second Carrier Clip is provided for
added security. For example, it may be
used to deter younger children from
easily removing Carrier. |
I) If Carrier Unit wire becomes loose,
remove wire and press down lightly
to make it wider. |
|

 |
 |
|
J) The disk in Top section can be broken out to add a S.A.M. Crawl-up Toob in order to
connect to other accessories or housing units. S.A.M. Crawl-up Toobs and other
accessories are sold separately. |
|
|
 |
|
|
K) If more than one hamster is housed,
the Carrier should not be removed leaving
a small animal inside the main unit unattended.
An optional wire guard is available from
PennPlax.com to close off the top opening. |

| MAINTENANCE |
|
|
 |
|
|
L) Cleaning Unit: Relocate animals. Remove top by
pressing wire in near the top hooks to release, then lifting. |
|
|
 |
 |
|
M) To remove ladders (SAM451, SAM452): 1) Lightly squeeze the side hooks just below platform,
2) rotate the ladder and push it upward. 3) Ladder must face inward (as shown) when lifting upward. |

 |
|
|
N) To disassemble wire from Base, remove all debris from Base Edge Track
and press in wire walls near base hooks. If stubborn debris has built up in tracks,
remove it by running under a stream of water. Also note that lifting Back-Toob
a few millimeters (1/4") helps release wire. |
